When the U.N. report on climate change was published, it stated we only had 10 years or less to halt or reverse our production of greenhouse gases to prevent the 1.5-degree
Celsius mark from being past. This frustrated me to no end. Especially since most
countries in the world aren't taking it seriously or aren't doing anything at all.
Since I feel we need to do more than protest marches to make a difference,
I created this collection from 100% reclaimed garments: effectively diverting
post-consumer retail waste from landfills and eliminating the need to
create new material production waste. It may be a small drop
in the ocean of the fashion industry's pollution, but a
little can go a long way if utilized properly.
