My father was in the U.S. Navy for 21 years as an Aviation Structural Mechanic First Class. When growing up, my dad would always tell me stories from his service. To honor the time he and others have served, I decided to use his favorite ship and aircraft, the USS John F. Kennedy and the F-14 Tomcat, as inspiration.
